How to get codes

  1. Write to support@ownandowe.app from your organisation’s address (a domestic violence program, legal aid office or nonprofit credit counseling agency) and say how many codes you need.
  2. We email the codes back, free.
  3. You hand a code to the person yourself. We never contact anyone.
  4. They enter it on the “Unlock your file” screen. The full file opens on up to 3 of their devices.

The free plan and inventory need no code. The file is built on their own device: nothing about them, not even whether a code was used, ever reaches us.
